Arrived about 530 on a Saturday. There was a very short line, and a hostess who was working it efficiently and pleasantly. After about 5 minutes she approached us and the couple in line in front of us, telling us all that she had a 'picnic table' opening up, and would we be willing to share? As the tables were fairly large, we said SURE and were seated. The weather was lovely and it was such a pleasure sitting there. My friend and I ordered a glass of wine and the shrimp appetizer. Our young waiter was helpful and friendly. He checked on us a couple times to see if we were ready to order our entrees. I ordered the fish and chips, and my friend got the Margherita pizza. Both were delicious and plentiful. I took almost half of mine home. The area is just as funky and delightful as people said, and Yes- the road is windy and you keep thinking: where the heck are we? Final note: on someone's review they implied that the only bathrooms were porta-potties. Not true. There are a couple 'regular' ones near the floating homes.

Interesting place! Quite a bit of a drive to get out there. We went around 1:30 on a Sunday. Thought it was later than the usually lunchtime rush, but there was a line at the door. I guess, from reviews, that's normal. We waited probably 10 minutes, which wasn't bad considering how many people were in front of us. Our service was a little on the slow side, but the food was decent. My husband got the fish and chips, and I got the margherita pizza. The fish was fine, the fries were great. The pizza was really good. The fish came out probably 10 mins before the pizza, though. My husband was done eating before the pizza even came to the table. At the end of the meal, we had to ask two times for the check--strange, since the second waiter had one of the table-side point-of-service machines in his pocket. I'm not sure why our regular waitress didn't.... Anyway, cute funky little spot. All outdoor seating, so make sure you come when the weather is nice. Parking is all public and kind of crowded, but you can also park along the jetty.

Not just a restaurant but a destination. You can easily spend the afternoon in the tiny harbor walking the jetty, enjoying the view, checking out the giant works of art on display and, of course, eating at the Sailing Goat. The food was fresh, thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We ordered the perfectly crispy fish and chips, a wonderfully spiced Berbere chicken, refreshing strawberry lemonade and a delightful fruit galette. Location Ambiance Food I almost forgot... service! Great crew- from hostess to the wait staff all were friendly and made you feel welcomed. It'll was the cherry on top of a wonderful experience. Service I can not wait to go back!
